Day Lewis Pharmacy has teamed up with digital health tech company PocDoc to integrate cholesterol testing technology into its weight management service, allowing for faster risk assessments and more personalised care.

The collaboration seeks to address the growing burden of heart disease and obesity by offering earlier pharmacy interventions. Patients will benefit from lab-grade diagnostics and digital tools designed to help them take control of their health with support from trusted pharmacy teams, says Day Lewis.

Jay Patel, executive director of the group, called the partnership a personal “mission” after his own recent heart bypass surgery. “We want to empower patients to prevent the avoidable,” he said. “Prevention, safety and smarter care must be at the centre of community pharmacy.”

Superintendent pharmacist Rachna Chhatralia added: “This partnership allows us to take a holistic approach, linking cardiovascular and weight management services to help patients better understand their overall health.”
